I would love to know the same katea... They are all so anime based, not even one photograph? All of these illustrators probably already have wacom tablets. :(

I would love to know who judged the contest. 13 of selected works are from the last day and some are of poor quality.

Wacom Contests Open in the Wacom Community

Journal Entry: Fri Mar 26, 2010, 9:42 AM
For March/April, Wacom has launched two new creative contests in the Wacom Community community.wacom.com

1.
EARTH DAY DESIGN & ILLUSTRATION CONTEST

In addition to activities planned here at Wacom, we wanted to do something special to celebrate Earth Day this year.  So we've decided to launch a contest that gives you the chance to pull out your tablet, flip on your computer, and create a meaningful and spectacular design around the "Earth Day" theme.

2.
LEAVE A TIP

You may not think you have a valuable tip, but if you're working regularly with a Wacom tablet, you probably do.

No doubt, you've played around with the Control Panel... set up some custom settings... even programmed the Radial Dial?  If so, then we want to hear all about your tips and tricks.  And, just think, they'll live in the Community to help other users out.

Could anyone tell me what's the difference between a 'Wacom Intuos Medium Pen & Touch' and a 'Wacom Intuos Pro Medium' except for the price. I personally prefer the design of the Pro version, but is it worth the money? Could anyone help?? :(

Heh, I came here looking for customer support, but they don't seem to manage this page... I am probably late, but...

The Intuos Pro has twice the pressure sensitivity and twice the resolution of the Intuos beginner line as well as 60 levels of tilt sensitivity. In my opinion, it is worth the money, although there's no real big difference between Intuos Pro and Intuos4 besides the added touch gestures and wireless compatability, so I'd buy an Intuos4 if you wanted the better specs for less money :)

No worries! Thanks for the reply!!
However, I've already bought the Intuos Pro and its a goddamn nice thing! Can't live without it anymore ;) It's just a big difference between drawing on page and digital. I love both, however for more professionality I really prefer to work with a tablet.

Yeah, I've got an Intuos4(which is an Intuos Pro without the touch functions ^^) and certainly like it more than my Bamboo!

By the way.. it's the first time that I'll buy a drawing tablet, however I've made lots of drawings on paper and colored them in Photoshop CS6.
